Return Policy Goals

 

We understand there are times when products need to be returned. We value you–our customer–and we want to offer the same great service with return pickups requests as we offer for delivery.

 

All saleable, clean stock items will receive 100% credit with original receipt. Special order/non-stock items are subject to a restocking fee and manufacturer policy will determine credit for non-stock items.

 

Return policy and procedure

 

We will gladly accept returns or correct any quality problems on all stock merchandise purchased from our company within the past 90 days. Upon verification that the merchandise was purchased from our company, we will exchange it, or return the merchandise as long as the product is not defaced and is not without its original packaging.

 

We want you to be completely satisfied. If you are not satisfied with a stock item that you have purchased, you may return the item for a full refund of the amount you paid for the item. Please keep your receipt for proof of purchase.

 

All Special Order (non-stock) merchandise may be ordered for you with a minimum of 50% down at time of order, with the balance due prior to or on delivery of such goods and services. Returns of non-stock merchandise are subject to applicable return charges and terms as per specific supplier. Sorry–no returns on custom ordered items.

Meet the Team

Loren Delzer

Co-owner

Loren has been in the building industry for over 30 years running his own construction business. He started his journey as a sole proprietor building post frame buildings in 1993 mostly in central and northwestern North Dakota for farmers and commercial outfits. Prior to ’93 he worked under Gene Rau, “Geno’s Construction” for 7 years learning the trade that would make him a successful businessman. Loren, although he is the boss man, never considers himself to be above anyone. He believes that he needs to work as hard if not harder than his employees to set a good example. In 2016 he decided it was time to step away from the world of construction and take part of the other side of the business in Retail. Loren knows the ups and downs of being an entrepreneur which has added to his success in starting a new business Rolling Hills Lumber. He enjoys interacting with customers and is committed to providing quality products at better prices along with good customer service.

 

Loren and his wife Tammy have 4 children, Waylon, Weston, Kimberly, and Kayla and 6 grandchildren, Lane, Savannah, Stetson, Beau, Barrett, and Bennett. Loren enjoys gardening, hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

Tammy Delzer

Co-owner/ Office Manager

Tammy Delzer is the wife to Loren Delzer and have been married for 32 years. Tammy has for most of her years been a stay at home mom raising their family. She has also worked from their home doing office managing and payroll duty for Loren throughout his construction career with post frame buildings. Aside from doing the administrative work for Loren’s Construction business Tammy also drove school bus for Max Public School for 7 years. She then took a part time Secretary position at Max School for 1 year. She left her position there to help her husband start Rolling Hills lumber.

 

Tammy enjoys cooking, baking, and sharing, gardening, and crafting and spending time with her family.

Darwin Maasjo

Outside Sales

Darwin graduated from North Dakota State School of Science in Wahpeton, ND in 1997 with a degree in architectural drafting. He started in the custom cabinet business with Cal-Dak Cabinets in 1997. He became part owner of the company and managed operations as well as doing commercial and residential estimating. Cal-Dak was widely known for high quality and excellent customer service under Darwin’s leadership. Darwin closed the business in the fall of 2019.

 

Darwin accepted the position of an Outside Sales Associate with Rolling Hills Lumber in October 2019. Darwin good work ethics and great customer relations. He is knowledgeable in the industry, especially in cabinetry. Darwin has been an exceptional asset to Rolling Hills Lumber.

 

Darwin and his wife Melissa have 4 children and live on their family farm just north of Minot. They enjoy raising horses, donkeys, mules, chickens and cows. Their family puts emphasis on time spent together and mission related activities.

Scott Lee

Store Manager

For over 25 years Scott has worked in the building materials industry supplying product, knowledge, and Customer Service to Contractors, Builders, Homeowners and DIY’s. Scott Graduated from North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, ND in 1995 with a degree in architectural drafting and estimating. Scott started out drawing plans for a local drafting firm until he joined the retail world working for a big box store. Thirteen years with that company taught Scott many key values and life lessens where at that point and time customer service was a priority and that the customer was always taken care of. Scott realized “the grass was greener on the other side of the fence” and went to work for local lumberyard’s where he grew their cabinetry business and honed his skills working with more of a Contractor base selling projects and helping the contractors and builders with their wants and needs. In 2014 Scott accepted the job with Rolling Hills Lumber to help them grow their family owned business. Scott also believes in the value of great customer services along with having great products at better prices.

 

Scott has a beautiful and loving family. His wife Heather of 20 years have five children, Ryley, Alyssa, Emmersyn, Kambry and Ivan. Scott loves the outdoors and spending time with his children with all their activities. Recently joining his son Ivan racing RC cars at local area tracks.
